New Member Commitment

In Christian fellowship together, we express our love for God as we:

  1. Live Faithfully
Live authentic lives of integrity, faith, love, kindness, and purpose so as to give glory to God and follow Jesus.
And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them (2 Corinthians 5:15).

  2. Worship Regularly
Gather with God’s people for the experience of weekly worship, fellowship, and service, making the weekly worship assembly a priority in your schedule.
19 Therefore, my friends, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus, … 22 let us worship with a true heart in full assurance of faith,… 24 And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:19-25).

  3. Share Abundantly
Honor God and support 1548 Heights with regular financial giving (weekly or monthly) and being generous with people in all ways.
The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work (2 Corinthians 9:6-8).

  4. Engage missionally
Participate in the mission and ministry of God’s work in the world and through 1548 Heights by volunteering and serving.
Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received (I Peter 4:10).
